How I've Been Waking Up Easier In The Morning.

In the past, it would be really hard for me to get out of bed in the morning. The moment I woke up my brain went straight to focusing on my symptoms and body scanning.

To help with this, no matter how hard it was, upon waking I would say “I feel amazing!” then I would immediately get out of bed, throw my hands up in the air and say “I am grateful for another day to rewire my brain!” then I would go into a round (mental rehearsal) and include a future visualization around waking up and feeling amazing in the morning.

For the first few weeks, it was hard work. After a few weeks though it became easier and now that I’ve been doing it for months I actually look forward to it every morning!
